Novo Hamburgo

Novohamburgo Novo Hamburgo is a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and one of 13 charming cities on the Romantic Route. The city has a great historical and architectural heritage, like the Igreja Nossa Senhora da Piedade (Our Lady of Piety's Church), just to name one of the many eclectic and neo classical constructions.

Avenida Paulista

Paulista_avenue_1 The Avenida Paulista or Paulista Avenue in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was designed by the Uruguayan engineer Joaquim Eugênio de Lima, and it is the heart of this city. Some of the most beautiful areas in the city are mixed between the office buildings and the residential ones, like the Lieutenant Siqueira Campos Park. Across the Park, we find the Museu de Arte de São Paulo , with 74 meters ceiling and works from Renoir and Van Gogh, among many others. Heading Downtown from the Paulista Avenue, we find the Nossa Senhora da Consolação, Catholic church in Gothic style, featuring towers of 75 meters, beautiful paintings and incredible stained glass windows.

Porto Alegre

Porto_alegre_1 Porto Alegre is the capital city of Rio Grande do Sul, one of the largest cities in Brazil, and for being a political, economical and cultural center, is one of the most important cities too. It is located at a delta formed by 5 rivers, known as Guaíba Lake, and the city was officially established in 1809. One of the wealthiest cities in South America, with a great cultural diversity, with immigrants from all over the world, making this city a great place to visit and explore.

Porto de Galinhas

Dportodegalinhas Porto de Galinhas is a port in Brazil, and means Port of Chickens.During the 18th century, when the traffic of slaves was forbidden, "chicken" was the code used to refer to the slaves. Today, this port it's a famous small village of fishermen. Many of the locals still make a living out of the catches they get from the sea, the coconuts which abound in the palm tree plantations, the small commerce businesses. Being close to Recife, is now one of the most important tourist destination in Brazil.
The beach line is 18 km long, all with white, fine grained, clean sand. There is a chain of reefs lining all along the coast. During the lower tide, the water trapped by the reefs forms several natural pools; tourists can swim, dive and feed the fishes.

Iguaçu Falls

Iguau_falls Iguaçu Falls are one of the great natural wonders of the world, located in what is known as the Tri Border, the area where Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina meet, and the Falls are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage. At the Tri Border, 3 cities share the Falls, Foz do Iguaçu on the Brazilian side; Puerto Iguazu town on the Argentine side, and Ciudad del Este on the Paraguayan side. You have amazing boat trips that can be made under the falls, safaris, wildwater rafting, and other similar activities that will let you explore the jungle and the falls.

The Pantanal

Pantanal_1 The Pantanal is the world’s largest wetland area, a flat landscape with some rivers, located mostly in the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, but theres also a part of it in Bolivian and Paraguayan territories.
The Pantanal floods during wet season, ending up with an 80% of the area under water, reason enough for having the world´s richest collection of aquatic plants.

Amazonia

It represents more than half of the planet's remaining raining forests and has the largest and richest variety of species, in fauna and flora, of the world. The biodiversity is really outstanding, even the biodiversity in the Wet Forests of Africa can't match the Amazonia. Right now, this awesome place, is suffering a massive deforestation, and a great deal of actions are being taken by the ecologists and nature defenders.
