New Year's Day

4_4The first day of Colombia's official annual holidays, New Year's Day, is primarily considered as a day of recovery from the wild, and often violent New Year's Eve festivities. Smaller street parties and public celebrations make this a calmer, safer and a pleasant time to be out. Bands playing traditional music and vendors selling traditional foods are what your are going to find on the streets. Many activities center around the Plaza de Bolivar.
