Colombia

The Republic of Colombia, in spanish República de Colombia, borders Venezuela and Brazil to the east, Ecuador and Peru to the south, the Atlantic Ocean to the north and Panama and the Pacific Ocean to the west. It is the 4th largest country in South America, and a very diverse country, of great physical contrasts, from snowcapped peaks of the Andes to the hot, humid plains of the Amazon River Basin, has 32 departments and one capital district, Bogotá.
