Paraguay

Paraguay_river_sunset Paraguay is a landlocked country in South America, divided into 2 regions, Chaco and Paranena, with 17 departments and 1 capital city. It borders with Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina, and crossed by the Tropic of Capricorn. Paraguay has a very homogeneous populations, with a 95% of the people of mixed Spanish and Guaraní Indian descent. This country has a lot to offer, and I'm pretty sure you'll want to explore it by yourselves too!

Angel Falls

The Pantanal

It is the 4th largest country in South America, and a very diverse country, of great physical contrasts, from snowcapped peaks of the Andes to the hot, humid plains of the Amazon River Basin, has 32 departments and one capital district, Bogotá.

Puerto Montt

VinadelmarViña del Mar is a beautiful coastal city in central Chile, well known as a tourist and beach destination and for its music festival, Festival de la Cancion de Viña del Mar. This city is considered the garden of Chile, and there is a great number of parks and water fountains, like the Reloj de Flores, a large clock with its numbers made with flowering plants.

Easter Island

EasterEaster Island, Rapa Nui, Isla de Pascua, is located on the Pacific Ocean, halfway to Tahiti, in Chilean territory, and it is famous for its giant stone busts that were built centuries ago. This busts are called Moai, and are archaeological features, so please be careful when you are around, the look tough but actually are pretty fragile. The Moai are located along the coastline, and you can also visit the inland quarry, a 300 foot volcano remnant which provided the stones for the Moai carving.
